Consumer Insights = Marketing Success
Conventional wisdom in marketing says marketing success results if you get the 4 P's right — Product, Price, Promotions, Place. Unfortunately conventional wisdom is wrong! The only way marketers can get the product right, the price right, the promotions right and the place or distribution right is by understanding the consumer.
In the rapidly changing environment, it isn't good enough anymore to base today's critical marketing decisions on past successes. You must understand the consumer out there today, their changing product and shopping preferences and how they want to spend their money. You need to put the consumer at the center of all marketing decisions. In order to do that, you need current and relevant consumer insights.
